Thomas M. Pamilla, MSW
Executive Director

Tom PamillaTom Pamilla has been the executive director at Stevenson House since 2007, and brings with him more than 25 years of experience in nonprofits. He came to Stevenson House with a deep respect for the dignity of older adults, and a desire to ensure that Stevenson House continue as a warm and supportive community where all residents feel safe, secure and respected. Prior to Stevenson House, Tom was the director of programs for the Alzheimer’s Association in San Diego County; and the executive director for Community Services Agency (CSA) serving Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. A native of New York, Tom also served as the executive director of Heights and Hill Community Council in Brooklyn, providing social services to isolated community seniors. He holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from St. Bonaventure University. Tom also served two years in the US Peace Corps, working in the Dominican Republic. He previously served on the board of Palo Alto Family Resources Foundation, and is currently a member of the Palo Alto University Rotary Club.
