Volunteers play a crucial role in the Stevenson House community. Since opening in 1968 generous hearted volunteers have contributed time and expertise enhancing the independence and well being of our residents. Stevenson House would not be the warm comfortable home it is without them.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities involving weekly, monthly or occasional participation. Volunteer possibilities include:
Committees provide vision for the future as well as the guidance for day to day operations at Stevenson House. Board Members, community volunteers, and interested residents make up the committees that serve. The following groups would gladly welcome further assistance:

Contributions from generous individuals, dedicated community groups, businesses and foundations enable Stevenson House to maintain very very low rents for those elderly among us who struggle to make ends meet. Stevenson House is a 501©3 tax deductible non-profit. During these times when federal and state support for the elderly is on tenuous ground we especially appreciate much needed community support.
